The Parable of The Weeds // Podobenství o pleveli - Pastor Jake Hunt
This Sunday, we will hear the sermon on Matthew 13:24-30 and 36-43, where Jesus tells the Parable of the Weeds. A farmer sows good seed in his field, but an enemy sows weeds among them. When the servants ask if they should pull up the weeds, the farmer says to wait until the harvest to avoid damaging the wheat. At the harvest, the weeds will be burned, and the wheat gathered.
Later, Jesus explains the parable: the field represents the world, the good seed are the children of the kingdom, and the weeds are the children of the evil one. The harvest represents the end of the age when the wicked will be separated and cast into the fiery furnace, while the righteous will shine in the kingdom of God. This parable teaches about the coexistence of good and evil until the final judgment.

Tuto neděli uslyšíme kázání na Matouše 13:24-30 a 36-43, kde Ježíš vypráví podobenství o plevelech. Farmář zasévá dobré semeno do svého pole, ale nepřítel zasévá plevel mezi něj. Když se služebníci ptají, zda mají plevel vytrhnout, farmář říká, aby počkali až na žně, aby nepoškodili pšenici. Při žních bude plevel spálen, zatímco pšenice bude shromážděna.
Později Ježíš podobenství vysvětluje: pole představuje svět, dobré semeno jsou děti království a plevel jsou děti zlého. Žně představují konec věku, kdy budou zlí odděleni a vrženi do ohnivé pece, zatímco spravedliví budou zářit v Božím království. Toto podobenství učí o coexistenci dobra a zla až do posledního soudu.
